Postgraduate studies in orchestral conducting is an educational program of the Music Education Department of the Academy of Art in Szczecin (Poland), addressed to all those who desire to explore the secrets of the art of working with an orchestral ensemble and performing symphonic music.

The curriculum of this course includes 180 hours of lessons in such subjects as orchestral conducting, score reading, orchestration, orchestral literature, and styles and trends in music.

The lecturers of the subjects are experienced pedagogues-artists of the Academy of Art in Szczecin: conductor with 35 years of experience - Dr. Hab. Piotr Borkowski Prof. A.S., and a composer and music theorist - Dr. Piotr Klimek.

The duration of the course is two years-four semesters and the classes take place both in Poland, in the facilities of the Academy of Art in Szczecin, and in South Korea, in the cooperating institution, which is the vanB Korea Artistic Association. In addition, the vanB Korea Artistic Association is responsible for the organizational and financial aspects of the study program for international students. In close cooperation with the Academy of Art and implementing the original curriculum approved by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Poland, vanB Korea controls the course of learning and ensures its high organizational and substantive level.

The course program provides education at the 7th partial level of the Polish and European Qualifications Frameworks.

The condition for joining the studies is the completion of higher music studies and the possession of a bachelor's or master's degree from a music school at the university level. A diploma in symphonic conducting is not required.
